Hello again, my dear friends!
Welcome back to Mishow Vietnam. In part 1 of the Morning Meeting time blog, I gave you a glimpse into our daily huddling and how they set the tone for our day. Today, I’d like to share a specific example of how these meetings help us overcome challenges and maintain our commitment to quality.
I remember one morning meeting when our director raised a concern about fabric relaxation. Fabric relaxation might sound simple—it’s just letting the fabric rest before production begins—but it plays a key role in determining quality.
That day, he noticed that the level of fabric shrinkage along the horizontal and vertical grain hadn’t been thoroughly tested. If this step had been skipped or overlooked, the fabric could shrink beyond the allowed level after being cut, and the final garments might come out uneven or misshapen—something Mishow would never accept.
The adjustment was small but critical. The team immediately introduced measures to test and monitor fabric shrinkage more carefully, ensuring any shrinkage was detected early and handled before the fabric entered production. By catching this issue in time, we prevented an entire batch of garments from becoming poor quality, saving time, effort, and resources.

Moments like these remind us how important the morning meeting truly is. It’s not just about planning—it’s about problem-solving, quality assurance, and working as one team to deliver the best products possible. Thank you for joining me on this little journey today. Mishow’s commitment to quality and teamwork is what drives us forward every day. I hope to see you again in the next blog! Until next time, take care and stay inspired! |
