This year, Vietnam is celebrating a very special milestone: the 50th anniversary of the end of the Vietnam War.

Here in Ho Chi Minh City, excitement is in the air as the city prepares for what is said to be the biggest celebration ever held.

Over the past week, the atmosphere has been completely different. Big rehearsals for the ceremony have been happening every day. On April 25, massive traffic restrictions were put in place for a parade rehearsal, and the whole city experienced heavy traffic jams. It was tough to get around, but seeing the practice marches and decorated vehicles made it worth it!

Since it will be difficult for ordinary people to attend the main event on April 30, huge crowds have already been gathering just to watch the rehearsals. Streets have been packed with people waving flags, taking photos, and trying to catch a glimpse of the performances.

Schools even announced early dismissal so students could avoid the worst of the traffic—and maybe sneak a peek at the action too!

At our factory, everyone’s talking about it. Many of our team members are excited to go out and see what they can on the big day.

We know it might be crowded and crazy, but still, it’s a once-in-a-lifetime event! Some are already planning their routes and best viewing spots.

    Honestly, we feel lucky.

Fifty years ago, this city was a battleground. Now, it’s a vibrant, peaceful city where people can gather safely to celebrate.

Being able to mark such an important day in peace is something truly special—and it’s something we never take for granted.

As April 30 approaches, there’s a mix of excitement and a little bit of worry about how busy it will get. But more than anything, we’re proud to be here, living and working in a peaceful Vietnam, and looking forward to an even brighter future.

    Stay safe, everyone—and happy celebrations!
