At Mishow Vietnam, good production doesn’t just come from skillful hands or precise machines—it also comes from everyday habits that keep everything organized and efficient. One small but essential part of that is our shared tool cabinet.
This cabinet isn’t anything high-tech or expensive. But it’s where each department—sewing, ironing, QC, and others—stores the basic tools they need for the day. Each team has its own pouches with scissors, measuring tapes, marking pens, tweezers, and more, all kept in order and ready to use. (The cutting section and office teams follow a different process.)
Each morning, workers pick up their tool pouch and return it to the same spot after work. It’s a simple habit, but one that helps keep the factory clean and efficient. New employees are given a full set of tools when they start, and any damaged or worn tools are replaced as needed so the workflow stays smooth.
Tools are managed through a clear process, and although they’re not expensive, they’re still part of the company’s assets. When someone leaves the company, they return their tools, just like returning a uniform.
What’s important is that tool care is not just one person’s job. Everyone shares responsibility—workers and management alike. We all understand that even something as small as a chalk pencil left behind in a garment could affect product quality and trust.
That’s why we remind each other to use tools carefully, check them regularly, and always put them back in the right place. These small habits may seem simple, but they help us work safely, avoid mistakes, and support one another as a team.
In the end, the tool cabinet is just one small corner of the factory. But it reflects something we care about at Mishow: doing things the right way, every day.
